iOS 7, Love it or hate it?

 iOS what? The new Apple software update hit all users last Wednesday. So what’s so great about the update? The biggest question is: is it even worth it?

       With iOS 7, Apple took a product millions of people already use on a day to day basis and made it into something even more useful and more interesting to all users. It’s still just as easy to use and navigate. You don’t want to miss out on the brilliant new features and the sleek new layout. iOS 7 can still be navigated in ways that are noticeably familiar. The plus side to the familiar features is that there is no need to relearn everything!

       The most frequently asked question was, “Is it even worth it to update?” Teacher Chad Hensley stated, “Every time I update I end up losing something.” He has not updated yet and does not plan to anytime soon. In contrast, I asked frequent iPhone user Cammie McGreevy her take on the exciting new update. When asked the most noticeable differences between iOS 6 and iOS 7 McGreevy mentioned some interesting subjects. “The first thing I noticed was that itunes was different,” McGreevy said with enthusiasm. She also noted that each artist name in her intunes libray now had a photo besides their name.

       Besides the new itunes layout, the camera, messaging, and a number of the apps have taken on a newer, cleaner look. If you’re looking for an exciting new change iOS 7 could be for you!
