As
most have heard, Ben Affleck is chosen for the role of Batman in the sequel to this
summer’s blockbuster Man of Steel. The
announcement of Affleck’s casting has spun fans into a frenzy, causing controversy.
Close friend of Affleck’s, Matt Damon
supports his decision to accept the role of Batman in the upcoming Superman
film. In a recent interview with the Huffington Post, Damon says, “I think it will be great. It will be terrific. I just
think it's kind of funny. You know, he's not playing King Lear. It's Batman! That's
certainly within his skill set.”
In the past,
Christian Bale has played Batman and the news of Ben Affleck being cast as
Batman certainly changes things.
