Creatine

A
huge controversy surrounds the supplementation of creatine, especially in
teens. Most people do not understand what creatine is, and their fears are
generally unfounded.
Creatine
does not act as a steroid. On it’s on own, creatine will create more muscle.
All that creatine does is pump water into the muscles, effectively allowing you
to maximize force output. In simpler terms, strength increases.
Creatine
does not cause liver and kidney problems, as many people seem to believe. The
only adverse side affect is slight bloating and water retention, which is
common. It is found naturally in the body and in red meats, albeit and small
quantities. Supplementing a good diet
and effective exercise routine with creatine will effectively help increase
strength, and ultimately to build more muscle.
