Do it Yourself: Week 3

Materials: 

Hot glue gun, two can drinks, scissors, ruler, and a piece of cardboard.

 

Step 1:

Cut the top and bottom off both of the cans.

 

Step 2:

Flatten it out and measure 13x8. (13-length 8-Width) (If you want to make sure the width is correct measure the top part you cut off)

 

Step 3:

Cut both the cans at least once by 13x8

 

Step 4 & 5:

Hot glue the pieces together.

 

Step 6:

Insert the cardboard piece in to the pieces glued together to keep the camera shape

 

Step 7:

Make sure you like the shape of the body of your “camera”.

 

Step 8:

Take the top of one of the bottles and cut as close to the rim as you can and glue it on to the body of the camera.

 

Step 9:

Take a piece of the can and make it fit onto the top of the camera.

 

Step 10:

Take the tab off the other can and glue it onto the top of the can slightly slanted.

 

Step 11:

Take a piece of scrap metal and bend it into a little tab and glue it down.

 

You’re finished!
