Three Ways to Balance School and a Job

·      Tribe Time- Tribe time is currently on a delay, but through this school year Tribe Time can be really beneficial. Tribe Time is 90 minutes to catch up on schoolwork and be on track. Depending on work hours, it’s tough to make time for homework on top of preparing for the next school day when you get home. ‘

·      Prioritize- If you have a lot of homework or big assignments coming up, try and work on them on days off. Get as much done as possible and focus in class if given the time to work on them. If you know ahead of time you have a big project or paper, ask off for a day or two so you will have time to work on it.

·      Know when to say no- Sometimes you just need a break from work and school but you need to know when to focus and get your work done. If you are invited to hang out with a group of friends, know your responsibilities and that it’s okay to turn them down. Get all your school work done, then there will be time to have fun.
