With Spring Break coming up soon you're probably thinking,
"What am I going to do for a week?" If you aren't traveling
for break there are several things you can do right here in the
Knoxville/Sevierville area. If you're willing to spend a little money there are
several activities available to you.
Getting a group of friends together to go downtown to eat and watch movie is always a lot of fun. If you're willing to
drive a little ways there is a bunch of stuff to do in the Pigeon
Forge/Gatlinburg area. Tanger Outlet mall is the shopoholics perfect Spring Break spot with tons of stores for men, women, and children.
Also in Pigeon Forge, there are several
miniature golf courses that will provide hours of fun for the most experienced
golfer to the most uncoordinated golfer. There are also several go-kart tracks
in the area that let you bring out your inner Nascar driver.
If outside
activities aren't for you, there are some great shows and museums that Pigeon
Forge is known for. For example, after paying a nice chunk of change you can see the
popular dinner show "The Hatfields and McCoy's." Another great show
is the "Lumberjack Feud," which features two different groups of
lumberjacks that participate in a lumberjack olympics.
If you don't want to sit through a show,
Ripleys has several museums you can walk through and experience. From
Wonderworks to Ripleys Haunted House, there is something for everyone! If none
of this sounds exciting to you, the Ripleys Aquarium is always an exciting
expereince for people of all ages! These are just a few activities in the area
that you can choose from. If none of these interest you, do your homework and
find something that does interest you!
