Eyeliner Shapes
for Your Eyes
By: Moira Webb
When lining
your eyes, one should consider the shape before just lining away. If you have a
certain eye shape, some styles can be flattering, and some…not so
flattering. Here are some suggestions
for your unique eye shape.
If you have
close set eyes, focus on making your eyeliner extend past the outer corner of
your eye in order to draw attention away from the space between your eyes. Almond
shaped eyes are the most proportionate eyes, and you will more than likely have
artistic freedom when it comes to your liner. Deep set eyes barely require any liner at all,
so try to make the line extremely thin. Completely
avoid liner on your upper lash line on down set eyes, and apply it to the lower
lash line to balance everything out instead. With hooded eyes, line both the
upper and lower lash line to draw the eyes out. Oval eyes pop when you make the
line thinner on the inner corner, and thicker in the center. However, do not bring the liner all the way
to the inner corner. Finally, if you have wide set eyes, line both lash lines
to achieve a closer look.
