Student Section Time
Line
This year’s football games have been nothing but a basket of
creativity from our South-Doyle student section. They have come up with several
intriguing and cool themes for the football games this year to help support our
South Doyle Cherokees. Here is a timeline of the themes form all the football
games so far.
American/Hillbilly –
For this home-style
theme, the student section dressed up in their best American/hillbilly clothing
to support good ole ‘merica! Sophomore Brock Browning, “I thought hillbilly
night was the one most people were excited for.”
Indians –
On the night of
this theme, everyone dressed up in their best Indian style clothing. Seniors
Brenna Ketron and Shelby Smartt both stated that Indian night was their
favorite to dress up for. “The Indian theme was my favorite because everything
was fun to make,” Ketron also said.
Black Out –
This theme was just
a fun night of everyone all in black helping support our Cherokee’s win their 4th
game in a row. Brock Browning said, “Black out would have been the one theme
night I would have dressed up for.”
Costumes –
The theme for this
night was fun and full of creativity as everyone dressed in their best and
colorful costumes to cheer on our Cherokee’s. Even though freshman Tyler Lewis
didn’t dress up for any of the themes, he said, “I would have liked to do
costume night because it was a lot of fun.”
Hawaiian –
This Friday’s
student section is doing a Hawaiian theme, it is sure to be colorful and a ton
of fun.
