5 Drinks for the Holidays

1.    Hot Chocolate-
This is a classic fall and winter drink. The great thing about hot chocolate is that it helps warm you up when the weather is cold. Another great thing about hot chocolate is that it is easy to make, and you can do it yourself. If you want to spice up your drink, then add some cinnamon or crushed peppermint.

2.    Pumpkin Spice Latte-
These drinks are great because they taste like fall. The latte is blended with the spices of fall, such as cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg. The pumpkin flavor is the perfect thing to tie it all together, and it makes the drink perfect for fall. If you don’t feel like making this drink yourself or you’re in a hurry, then you can get one at Starbucks or McDonalds.

3.    Apple Cider-
This is a great thing to drink if you want something warm, but don’t want anything super fancy. This is a drink served mostly in the fall ad winter months. It is also very popular for holidays like Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Apple cider is a little more flavorful and tart than apple juice, because it is usually freshly brewed and handmade.

4.    Eggnog-
This drink is very sweet, and is served cold. It is very popular over the Christmas holiday. This drink is very easy to make on your own, because there are very few ingredients. If you don’t want to make it or you need a lot, then you can buy it at almost any store during the holiday season.

5.    Peppermint Mocha-
This drink is made for Christmas. It is made with espresso, warm milk, and drizzled with peppermint syrup. You can make this at home, but it might be a little complicated. Starbucks has this drink seasonally, and it usually comes out around November.
