For thank a teacher week, I would like to thank my freshman
year algebra teacher, Mrs. Fowler. Since I can remember, I have always been
pretty good at math. When I had Mrs. Fowler, I finally understood how and why
things worked, instead of just knowing the answers to the problems. She really
explained things on a deeper level, and made sure I, and all of her students,
understood all of the material before she moved on to the next topics.
Because of
Mrs. Fowler, I now have a deeper understanding of algebra, and math in general.
She made math fun, and I looked forward to going to her class every day. If you
had, or currently have, Mrs. Fowler, you are lucky to have had such an amazing
teacher who really cares about her students.
All in all,
I would just like to say thank you, Mrs. Fowler. Thank you for making math so fun,
and for giving me the base I needed for my future math classes. Thanks to you,
I am in Honors Geometry, and I am looking at math with a new perspective.
