October 29^th, 2013 the residents of Greenwood County did not of the grizzly events taking place that Tuesday night. The police got a 911 call from a man within the home that he was thinking about harming himself. After failing to make contact several times a SWAT team arrived at the home on Tuesday to find six bodies. Four of the bodies were adults, one suspected to be the called, and two were children’s. Investigations indicated police to believe it was a related “domestic abuse incident”. The county sheriff, John Long, declined to call it a murder-suicide, but further investigations are taking place.
