Study Playlist

Personally as a high school student trying to focus on my homework after school is difficult. What I’ve learned that helps me a great deal when I’m having trouble concentrating is music. If I’m working on Math I’m more likely to listen to something that is more upbeat, but if I’m reading for English I’m going to listen to something more calm and softer.

Math Playlist:
These are songs that are full of energy and upbeat lyrics. When I’m working on math these songs help my concentration and eventually help me get my work done faster overall.
1.     Could Be by Empt
2.     Alone Together – Fall Out Boy
3.     R U MINE? – Artic Monkeys
4.     Bad Moon Rising – Mourning Ritual
5.     Help I’m Alive – Metric
6.     Titanium/500 Miles – Pitch Perfect

English Playlist:
These songs are slow and chill that give you a very relaxed feel. I like to listen to these when I’m reading a book, article, or working on an English paper because it helps my creative juices flow. They are slow enough that they’re not boring and keep you entertained in the background when you’re trying to concentrate.
1.     Super Rich Kids – Frank Ocean ft. Earl Sweatshirt
2.     Into the Wild – LP
3.     The Girl – City and Colour
4.     In My Veins – Andrew Belle
5.     Big Jet Plane – Angus and Julia Stone

6.     Skinny Love – Bon Iver
