Prom Restaurant Ideas

Restaurant Alternatives for Prom!
As Prom falls on a busy day this year, you and your friends may have found it difficult to make reservations for dinner. The downtown area will be packed from people enjoying the annual Rossini Festival and the Orange and White pre/post game activities. With all the hustle and bustle, it may be difficult to find a restaurant for the evening without risking being put on wait. As most restaurants are call ahead these days, here are some ideas for finding a place for dinner before Prom!
·      Ruby Tuesday- If you’re looking for an inexpensive place to take your date for dinner this would be a good choice. If you live near the school then this would be a great place to meet and get dinner while on your way to the Art Museum in the downtown area.
·      Chop House- This restaurant is in the same vicinity as Ruby Tuesday but only a tad bit more pricey. A good alternative to places downtown like the Brewery.
·      Ye Old Steak House- If you’re looking for something a bit more homey then this is it. It is more on the expensive side but a fantastic idea if you’re looing to go all out on Prom night!
·      Lakeside Tavern- If you’re okay with a little bit of a drive this is a wonderful place to eat before prom. Their prices are inexpensive and their menu items range from chicken tenders to steak and seafood to Crème Brulee for dessert. Not only is the menu a reason to go but the location is beautiful. It could double as the place to take your before prom photos with the lake background.
If you choose any of these places to eat, be sure to call an hour or more before the time of your dinner so they know you’re coming!
