Every single day at least one person says, “I wish I could speed up my metabolism to make me skinny.”  Society has made it to where people always want to lose weight and have a mind set that beautiful is 95 pounds and eating nothing. This isn’t the way society should view beautiful but it is okay to want to speed up their metabolism. There are three popular ways complete this task without spending a hundred dollars on healthy food.
The most popular way to speed up the metabolism is adding lemon to water. Lemon water is a tasty beverage that helps your body lose weight and it isn’t expensive to get. Just take a piece of lemon and add it to your water, then you are ready to get hydrated. Cheryl Wheeler Duncan explains the reason lemon water helps increase the metabolism by saying, “The digestive enzymes in lemon, plus fiber, will get your metabolism and digestive system moving so you are easily digesting anything you eat later that day.” The best time to drink lemon water is in the morning so your digestive system will wake up and start running. Throughout the day, anything consumed in your body will digestive faster than usually which will help with weight lose.
Another delicious way to speed up the digestive system and metabolism is by eating oily fish. The most common fish to eat would be salmon. Salmon is healthy, fights off cancer, and will help your body breakdown food that is eaten. Eating oily fish not only helps your body burn off fat but it also increases brainpower. Just by consuming these types of fish will help your body in many ways. Mary-Lou, a health fanatic, states, "The proteins and good fats in oily fish help boost metabolism. Also the oils in the fish along with the protein tells your fat cells that you’ve got enough fats instead of storing excess, reserved fat your body just lets go.” Even though your waistline will enjoy the consumption of oily fish, so will the rest of the body.
The most important thing to do to help your body get a skinnier waistline is sleeping. This is one of the most enjoyed steps to losing weight. Everyone loves to sleep and knowing it will help you obtain a goal is even better. Not getting enough sleep will actually add on fat to the body and make people gain weight. Researchers believe this is because not enough rest will upset the balance of important appetite-regulating hormones, which will cause weight gain.
These are simple ways to help your body out to breakdown food, lose weight, and speed up the metabolism. Why not do things that will make you happy in the long road and produce a healthier body? Inexpensive habits are the best way to go and staying simple with them is even better.
