Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

            The story follows our favorite captain learning to adapt to the modern times he has awoken into scared. We see Captain America, Steve Rogers, dealing with the ramifications of the New York City attack (Avengers) and after being rejected from the army he joins S.H.I.E.L.D. Steve begins finding out about S.H.I.E.L.D.’s secret project: Project Insight. In his eyes it threatens everything America stands for and himself. He sees the freedom these people have attained being taken away.
            “If Captain America hopes to ensure a future for freedom, he must first overcome a collision course with his own complicated past,” stated Screen Rant writer.
             However, everything Steve had become accustomed to changes after director Nick Fury is attacked by the fabled assassin the Winter Soldier and fatally injured.  This has Captain America, fellow avenger Black Widow, and former solider/friend Sam Wilson looking for the answers they need to solve the world threatening problems that have begun to arise.

            The movie is packed with lots of action, humor, and serious moments. The way they all mesh together keeps the movie light hearted but also serious. It ties in with Steve’s past in ways that will wrench your heart from several different directions. Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier is definitely a five stars and must see film of the year. It broke records at the box office leaving viewers stunned.
