The Guide to the Perfect Weekend

How does one come up with the perfect plans for a weekend? Well, that all just depends on what you are into. To me, the perfect weekend involves spending time with friends, jamming out to some music, and just partying the night away (in a good, positive way of course).
Music is the soundtrack to life so with that being said you need the perfect song to wake up to. A song you could hop out of bed and feel glad you have been blessed with another day of life like Pharrell’s “Happy” or Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell’s “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.” This is necessary because you want to wake up in the right mood and you want to start the day off right. Once you have done that, it is about that time you put on your nicest, freshest, cleanest outfit and hit up your friends to see if their ready for a day of epic proportions.
When it comes to plans for your weekend adventures, you can either plan ahead or do something spontaneous. You could take walk through the downtown section of your city, go swimming, or just chill at someone’s house. Regardless of your style of planning, you just have to make sure it entertains you and the rest of your crew. Everybody has to be happy for this to be a success because if everyone is not happy, there will be problems. These “problems” could be a gift and a curse because it could potentially ruin the night or result in moment of where emotions spill out and that is never a bad thing. True friends not only have fun together, but they cry together and that’s real.
After you and your crew have spent the whole afternoon having fun, it is time for you all to chill and relax throughout the evening. Personally, I am always down for Netflix and pizza after a long, fun yet exhausting day. This is the “chill period” and this is where the real fun begins. This is when you all relax and spend time together. This could also be another time for you and your crew to have a “Drake Moment.” If you have never had a “Drake Moment” then you lack emotion and empathy.
With summer drawing closer and closer, that means it is time to break out the swim wear and other summer apparel. The great weather the summer brings gives you more options and activities to add to your perfect weekend. Personally, I like to swim and when the weather is good it is all I want to do. So keep in mind that great weather makes for greater weekend adventures.

To create the perfect weekend, you only need a few things: friends, food, music, creativity, emotion and great weather. In my opinion, these are the necessities to have the perfect weekend.
