Summer is rolling in hot and everyone is
ready to hang out with friends. Which usually includes grabbing a quick bite
and some sort of frozen beverage. Here are some ideas for local restaurants!
Breakfast-
Dunkin Donuts: This restaurant is close to
the school and could grab a donut or two for breakfast before hanging out with friends.
They also serve an assortment of iced coffees and cold drinks for those hot
summer days. There is an app that offers discounts that makes it even more
convenient.
Lunch-
Sonic: Sonic is known for their cold
drinks, like milkshakes, slushies and malts and have recently come out with
several more slushy flavors. The menu features an assortment of new flavors
with ones that can add nerd candy, which adds a twist to this cold summer
treat. The restaurant has individual spots for parking and ordering or where
friends could enjoy a quick snack and drink on the patio set up. Nothing better
than a pretzel dog and blue raspberry nerd slush!
Dinner-
Cookout: The restaurant is located fairly
close, on the Cumberland strip and is a good place to get a cheap meal and
frozen drink on a summer night with friends. The menu offers $5.00 meal
combinations and a huge variety of milkshakes. Just going to enjoy their
milkshakes could be a reason to just hang out with friends and enjoy a shake.
