Dogwood Arts Festival

            If you are looking for something fun to do this weekend, think about taking a trip to the Dogwood Arts Festival. There are events on Friday, May 2 and Sunday, May 4. They will be held in Downtown Knoxville at the Knoxville Museum of Art on World’s Fair Park Drive. 
            Friday’s event is the Glass Blast Street Party. This street party will include live music, food and beverages. It is being held to celebrate Glass Fest 2014 at the KMA. It will last from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, and costs $20 per person. For more information on this event, call (865) 525-6101 or visit knoxart.org.
            Sunday’s event is the KMA Family Fun Day. The event will be filled with art-making, artist demonstrations, face painting, balloon art and continuous entertainment on stage. It will also be held at the Knoxville Museum of Art in Downtown Knoxville.  This event will last from 12:00pm to 5:00pm, and admission is free.
