Netflix's Top TV Shows and Newest Movies

Top TV Shows:
 1. Continuum created by Graeme Manson and John Fawcett
      This show stars Rachel Nichols as Kiera Cameron. A girl trying to stop the efforts of a terrorist group called Liber8. The catch: Kierra is accidentally transported from the year 2077 to try and stop these terrible terrorists.

 Netflix says – “Very entertaining, the best series on Sci-Fi since Stargate. Riveting plot and characters”

2. The Walking Dead created by Frank Darabont

      This show has been around for 5 years and is going on its 5th season, which is set to start in October 12th. This show stars Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes, Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon, Chandler Riggs as Carl Grimes, and Danai Gurira as Michonne; and these are only part of the enormous cast of this show. The Walking Dead is based on a zombie apocalyptic society where everyone is just trying to survive the world that has erupted from this disease.

 Netflix says – “The Walking Dead is so much more than a regular zombie movie. So compelling and full of action and drama”

3. Pretty Little Liars based on the novels by Sara Shepard

     This show stars Lucy Hale as Aria Montgomery, Shay Mitchell as Emily Fields, Ashley Benson as Hanna Marin, and Troian Bellisario as Spencer Hastings. These four friends band together in this dramatic TV show to fight against an anonymous foe that threatens to reveal their darkest secrets. While also unraveling the mystery of the murder of their best friend Alison, played by Sasha Pieterse.

Netflix says – “Addicting and full of drama and surprises. Definitely a must watch drama”

4. Friday Night Lights created by Peter Berg

     This show stars Kyle Chandler as Eric Taylor and Connie Britton as Tami Taylor as two of the main characters and even though it ended 6 years ago, Netflix still labels it “one of the best TV shows to be streamed”. This show follows the trials and tribulations of small town Texas football players, and their friends, family, and coaching staff.

 Netflix says – “Full of drama and heart clenching scenarios. More real than reality TV”

5. Once Upon a Time created by Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis

     This show stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as Regina Mills, and Josh Dallas as David Nolan. This show isn’t just a fairytale story, it’s reality. This show stars a group of small town citizens brought into chaos by Emma Swan, a criminal on the run, unaware that the fate of this town lies with her. As the Evil Queen puts a curse over the town, Emma is the only one who can break this curse and make all the fairytale people and creatures remember who they really are.

 Netflix says – “Creative and enchanting. Full of drama and fun for the family”
